900+ Delegates, 3 Countries, 1 Regional Event
Over the past seventeen years, the annual Economic Outlook has positively contributed to long-term national and business planning through its hard-hitting themes, its calibre of speakers and targeted topics.
Having begun as the Cayman Business Outlook in the Cayman Islands, the event has morphed into the RF Economic Outlook (RFEO) with expansion into The Bahamas and Barbados. Now a regional event, RFEO is designed to bring together leading thinkers and doers to explore how global business, technology, science, finance, politics and culture shape the Caribbean economy.
RFEO 2021 accomplishes this mission in the following ways:
Hard-Hitting and Relevant Topics
With the mounting concerns over the volatile state of both local and global economies, this year’s theme focuses on uncovering opportunities where leading business, political and entrepreneurial leaders can help build sustainable growth and improve living standards in the Caribbean. This year's topics include the evolution of disruptive technologies, the potential for cyber warfare between the US, China and Russia, the future of tourism in the Caribbean, emerging environmental threats and opportunities, and other global issues impacting the region.
A Melting Pot of Ideas
This event features leading minds from all over the world, the United States, Europe, Asia and the Caribbean, who each provide a unique and knowledgeable perspective on various subject matters. This diverse line-up of presenters allows for a comprehensive assessment of global trends and their impacts on various regions of the world. Welcoming delegates from across the Caribbean, RFEO 2021 also provides a forum to discuss regional issues, from tourism in a post-COVID world to the risk of natural disasters on small island economies.
